: MediaTakeOut.com has some EXTREMELY sad news to report, dancehall artist Captain Barkey was MURDERED on Friday night - he was shot along with a ladyfirend while exiting a popular motel. The killer was the woman's estranged boyfriend.

The killer was waiting when the couple emerged from the Holiday Motel around 3:10 a.m., and he blasted more than two dozen bullets at the helpless duo, witnesses and police said.
“Don’t do it! Don’t do it!” wailed Tracy Bennett, 38, before the shooter gunned the twosome down in the parking lot. The slain woman had an order of protection against her killer, police sources said. Bennett and her boyfriend, Wayne Hamilton [Captain Barkey], 50, were about to leave in her white Toyota Camry when the gunman sprinted out of the darkness and opened fire, the sources said.
Hamilton hopped from the passenger seat and tried to escape the hail of bullets that cut him down just outside the motel office, sources and witnesses said.
The suspect then turned his pistol on the weeping Bennett as she stood next to her parked sedan, its motor still running.
The doomed woman pleaded for her life before he opened fire, sources and witnesses said.

Wow I seen someone say " why would someone risk their freedom over a woman " risk their freedom????? How bout why would someone take the lives of two people?????? I once heard some guy say why would I beat you up who wants to go to jail over a girl.... That's the only reason stopping him from beating her up is jail, otherwise he would. Meanwhile it's wrong to beat someone up and murder someone as well... Who Merely lets the possible consequences stop them from these Messed up actions????
And alot of Americans want to get rid of the death penalty... Seriously!!!! This guy *** be allowed to live 2yrs int he prison system before being put to death... He was married with kids. They had been seeing each other for 2 years. What's sad is that his kids have no father and I am sure his wife is hurt. He flew all the way from Milwaukee to The Bronx, where this happened. I may sound a little cold but I don't feel bad for them. I know it wasn't in the hand of the killer to take their lives and he does deserve to be punished for that, but they both were wrong for being involved with each other. Never mess with a married man. It's bad luck!
Why people trying to justify this murder. You can't take a man's life because he with someone you love or take woman's life because she no longer loves you. The murdered victims can no longer correct their mistakes, ask forgiveness and do right by their families. Two person lose their lives because they love each other not that the relationship was right but they don't deserve to be murdered. There is no one here which is righteous but God. So stop judging. This is Murder!!! Just imagine if this was one of your family member who got caught up with a obsess, jealous, deranged fool. Put away the fact that the victims were Jamaican and the suspect is Haitian. This is serious two person lost their lives!!!
First off you guys have it all wrong. The alleged ***/killer is from Haiti. The 2 who are now deceased are from Jamaica. The latter had been in this relationship for 5 years. The female recently ended the relationship with the alleged ***/killer. The female was using the alleged *** money to finance the deceased male career, gifts etc. The deceased mail wrote song and videoed a song about the alleged ***/killer bragging and boasting about taking away his woman etc. So one doesn't know how one would react if they were placed in such position so we should not judge. All of us have different temperaments and are from different cultures and react totally differently. I am not saying it is right but that is other people's culture and we so happen to live in a melting pot.
It should not be said that this is about the "P". Today people work hard for their money and money is hard to obtain in these hard times. So who knows what really triggered the alleged ***/killer. At times females do string along the other party - we do not know what this female was really up to. If one read the facts and even what the previous husband spoke we would step back and see something just ain't right. He the previous husband did not even want to be associated with the deceased if one read how and what was stated.
We should not be jumping the gun with peoples business. Wait for the facts if you are not a part of this community you would not be 80 or 100% in the know. Hope this is a lesson to both males and females who are involved and stepping out on their partner.
