While the ballots were first being counted, I witnessed a surplus of scared democrats. My Facebook newsfeed was flooded with, "he's cheating," "there won't be anymore foodstamps." My favorite was when a friend put that if Obama loses there wouldn't be anymore foodstamps, college, child support or daycare. Apparently that was a copy and paste going around. I had a preference, but I really didn't care who won because it wouldn't affect me nor would the country get significantly better, but now I'm happy Obama did when. Too many uneducated, poor people getting upset might cause a spike in emergency room visits and arrests. God knows our tax dollars have been misused enough. I really couldn't stomach the amount of people who I know never work or hardly work complaining about money they didn't contributed to. Its sad that so many people rely on government support. At least in 2016 we will have two new, hopefully more qualified, guys to choose from. Its a win-win for all.

Mitt Romney was gracious about his exit. I didn't vote for Obama but when my children read their history books I'll be glad to say I witnessed that. No shade! Plus I believe some of President Obamas supporters didn't want to lose their government assistance if Romney hadn't threatened that he wouldn't have had half the support and vice versa. I have owned my own business for years and yes, I make over $250K p/yr. I know I will be taxed heavier than in the past but I still voted for Obama because this election isn't just about me. I refuse to forget where I came from and how I got to where I am. If I'm not willing to help others that were just as less fortunate as me when I was growing up, then what was all of this struggle for? I care about the candidate that cares about us, not just a small percentage of us. This wasn't a race thing, it was believing in someone that understood that it took hard work to get to where he is today but he also understands the unnecessary obstacles put in front of us that can impede some from achieving their goals.
