: A fight POPPED OFF at NBA star a party thrown by NBA superstar Chris Paul on Wednesday night. Police were called and TWO NBA players WIVES were arrested for robbery. Jamie Patrice Thomas, wife of Charlotte Bobcats forward Tyrus Thomas, and Sascha Smith, 22, the fiance of Bobcats guard Ben Gordon were arrested.
Here's what happened, according to WCNC in Charlotte:
When officers arrived, Thomas was in a car in the parking lot and tried to leave the scene, hitting a security guard with her car for the second time, police said.
Charlotte police then had to force Thomas, 26, out of the vehicle.
"Officers gained entry to the vehicle by breaking the driver window. Officers were able to open the door after breaking the window," CMPD said in a statement. "A female inside of the vehicle, Shassity Stevenson, began pulling Thomas back inside of the vehicle away from the officers. During the struggle officers had to utilize force in order to extract Thomas from the vehicle via the driver’s side door of the vehicle."
Thomas was taken to Carolinas Medical Center to receive treatment before being taken to jail.
So what REALLY happened???? We have no idea, but it sounds like a jumpoff might have got her phone snatched to conceal EVIDENCE!!
