Roc nation does manage artists, but it is also a label. I wondered about your claim because I remembered the jay electronica roc nation come together being referee to as a signing.

It would be a horrible move for Drake considering Jay Z is horrible at promoting artists. He hates anyone to outshine him and tries to control their lives as if he's Berry Gordy. i was probably drake biggest fan 4yrs ago when he was killing the mixtape game...his niche was fresh & new, but i just dont see much of a future for him...im sure he will make another A+ album, but rap music is always looking for the next big thing, & never spend too much time celebrating their top tier artists'..roc nation wouldve been smart to do this after thank me later...take care was one of the best produced rap albums ive EVER heard...i doubt that he will be given the opportunity from the rap nation to allow his next studio album to breathe the way they did his first 2...good luck tho...

I think everybody seen this move coming, If it is true, he never really fit in with YMCMB. I think he is a good young artist, and his flow & his delivery is pretty nice but as an artist you could always see him going in another direction. Wayne has been hotter than fish grease every since 07" every mixtape, album, or collaboration that he touches is gold, and that is the main reason drake is as hot as he has been in the last couple of years, cause of Wayne! Just look at other artist he is affiliated with, Nikki she sell like crazy, Kelly Roland career was pretty much stag-net until she made made motivation. 2Chains been in hip hop for a while now but when his Wayne affiliation grew, and people start seeing that, he blew up like Ether. Wayne got star power like no other rapper ever in the game, I think he now has surpassed Jigga globally, not lyrically, but as far as being a household name. If drake leaves, I predict his stock will go down, and so will his popularity, and record sales. Wayne like #23 and drake like #33.
