A friend of mine had a flat a few downs down from one of Sade's flats (when she mostly stayed in central London) and I've met Ila before (but not any time recently..this was several years back). When I saw her, she was more soft and feminine in person. Very nice girl --on the shy side -- but nice nonetheless. Sade's pretty nice too. I had a chance to sit in on a session when the Soldier of Love album was being recorded. (Thanks Vince!!!: one of the sound engineer's on the album)
