: According to TMZ, rapper Lil Wayne has been hospitalized for having multiple seizures. They say he is on the verge of DEATH. Here is the report:
We're told Wayne is currently "unstable," and has been placed in an induced coma. He is breathing through tubes.We're praying for him . . . UPDATE: Lil Wayne's camp and rapper TI just reached to people and told them that Lil Wayne is recovering and is NOT in serious medical condition.
We're told several people are at Wayne's bedside crying, and a number of rap artists and family members are on the way. Sources say the scene is violent as Wayne shakes uncontrollably.
Sources say there's evidence Wayne went on a Sizzurp binge after being released Wednesday, because doctors found high amounts of codeine in his system.
UPDATE 2: Here is the official word from Young Money, "He fine, he’s right here with us. He’s not checking out. TMZ is just full of bullshit! And messing with people."

I do believe TMZ. I think their story made Wayne sound weak and they responded back out of pride. TMZ called it on MJ, so their credibility is pretty strong.

But prayfully I hope he comes through by the grace of God . & I hope he go get help for his addiction but this goes to show u no one is above God hands whether rich or poor & those that r around that knew of his problem ( so called friends) should have intervene & gotten him help a loonnnnngggggg time ago cuz he has been on this sizzupp for a while. weak mother fckers crying because their meal ticket almost left and they know they're just flunkies and not in his will. Why would you cry at someone's bedside instead of keeping their spirits up. They're sick not you and you can't control your dramatic emotions? Drama! I didn't boo hoo at the bedside of people I loved the most before they past because I didn't want a bunch of crying sadness to be their last memory, selfish people!Only person that could get a pass is his daughters! Everyone else, man up and help him be strong!
He's epileptic. Epileptics have a higher percentage of drug abuse compared to "normal" people. Look it up its a fact. He could of been born with it just never had a seizure till his late 20s early 30s . But his drug abuse could of caused the epilepsy. I guess we'll never know.
On a weird note if he has a certain form of epilepsy called temporal lobe than it could account for all the *** songs he's written. People who suffer from TLE write theirs *** off. Look at a lot of great authors and they had TLE Edgar Allen Poe for example . Wayne is no Poe but he has written a lot of songs.
SO I read Superhead's Video Vixen book again since it first came out and it's no secret that cocaine, Xtc and other drugs cause seizures. She writes about having seizures in a Mr Chow bathroom. The seizures are too common in that life, so I don't think Wayne will learn anything from this experience. I could be wrong...
I can guarantee someone in his camp ( PR person ) released that statement to keep the media away from the hospital & to not continue the negative press with him being on drugs . This man is in bad condition they jus don't want the public to know. TMZ ..... Was 100%correct on their info because one of their reps was standing outside the hospital & someone from his camp talked the press (TMZ). Get well Wayne!!!!
I have temporal lobe epilepsy that's where I get my info mclam86 . I've been in front of more psychs than I can count I've been told by multiple doctors of this fact. Plus all the studies that have been done on this subject a simple google search will tell you that.
To Luvnit86 did I say everyone with epilepsy will do drugs ? No. I said epileptics have a higher percentage of drug use compared to normal society. Read first. And since you have epilepsy than you should already know this . Especially if its anything like TLE. Look up geschwind syndrome . Remember read read read. Than answer. By the way I've had E since birth as well .
To McLamb86. I have done the research. I have temporal lobe epilepsy. I have read more on this subject than you I guarantee you that. It's part of my E I read and write constantly. It's just one of my symptoms. Just google search and you'll see . I know what I'm talking about. Plus all the doctors that have told me this. Trust me I've seen more doctors than I can remember. They have all said this.

@mclamb86, Read my first post I also said it could be the drugs. But seeing how hes had more than one seizure his doctors have probably diagnosed him with E. All it takes is to have multiple seizures to be diagnosed. He is on anti-convulsant drugs isnt he? Doctors must of seen something wrong with his EEG.
Also I didnt say that all writers have had epilepsy. But if Pac would of had seizures I would say the same thing about him. I was stating that "waynes" writing could be caused by E. Not every writer in the world. Theres a list of authors througout history that have had E so you cant deny the fact that it makes you write obsessively.
