: MediaTakeOut.com just got some EXPLOSIVE News . . . Porsha Stewart is NOT going to be returning to next season of the Atlanta Housewives. People IN THE KNOW at the show tell us that Porsha's HUSBAND, former NFLer Kordell Stewart is "not allowing" her to return for a second season.
Well "not allowing" may be a strong word (even though it was the word that a BRAVO TV person used). According to MediTakeOut.com's snitches BEHIND THE SCENES at the show - Kordell DID NOT like the way he was portrayed on the show and thought that producers "disrespected" him and his household - so he convinced his wife that it was in HER BEST INTEREST to quit the show.
Porsha will finish out this season, doing ALL THE PROMO that she is contracted to do. She will also appear on THE REUNION SHOW, which was taped last week. Kordell REFUSED to attend the reunion show, despite EVERY OTHER spouse (Peter, Apollo, and even Todd) attending.
I don't blame him! Not everyone wants to share/air all of their business on tv just for the sake of doing so. It's not like they need the money. I'm sick of all of this reality show bs anyway. Errbody has a show or wants to be on one. We should rename the genre; it should be ratchet tv instead of reality tv.
I'm not surprised...smh. Porsha is young, naive and in love. She won't see him as controlling until he has drained all her youth. He is already (per the show) setting her up to be at home with babies and no nanny so she won't be able to move around and find Porsha! He is insecure, unattractive and the list can go (but I won't)...anyway, he knows he isn't going find another one that eat sleeps and breathes his every everything. He always talks as if he has all the answers ! Porsha"Did ya hear what I said"..you gotta check that" Did you hear what I said????...Really ! It must be the $$$. His next B-Day party should be Wheel of Fortune themed and Porsha can be Vanna turning letters that eventually spells F*** Y** !!!
Who didn't know before they click the link? He just doesn't want his embarrassing display of insecurity to be televised anymore. He wants to *** his wife free from intervention, interference and ridicule. What he wants is very necessary and important as far as respect is goes, but it should be a two-way street. Which is a concept that most couples can't grasp... someone has to wear the pants and it's usually the bread winner. People need to grow up finally!
Good! Nobody wants to see his fugly assss anyway. His wife was shown to be what she really is...........an airhead. I knew something was wrong with her when she chased Kenya down during that "fundraising" function. Kenya stepped out and she had to run her down and start mess. Kenya is a grown woman, she did not need a babysitter. That's when I knew Porsha was off. Everything that followed was just proof.
The media will tell you that Cordell is controlling and Porsha is "dumb" for listening to her husband, but the truth is that American values are in the toilet, our kids are out of control, so many homes are out-of-balance because there are too many "chiefs." Cordell is right that the show WAS trying to make a mockery out of his traditional family. The media tries to sow seeds of dischord between men and women, which is why marriages are failing like flies. Cordell and Porsha should do whatever they need to do to protect their marriage and the sanctity of their home.
All you lonely unmarried black women on here talking about he's controlling - that's the problem with black women and why they can't find husbands - anytime a man tries to be a man and run his household - you want to make him out to be controlling - you all are going in on this man like he's abusive or something. A woman was designed to be submissive to the man...that's why men run the world so bow down ***.

U said it missdawndee...I can respect traditional but controlling and traditional are two different things. Any woman would appreciate a strong man that handles his business and takes care of home but why is it that a woman can't be strong and still be a respectful loving wife who has goals outside of the household. These reality shows get real when hey hit on some serious issues within a marriage....it is probably in their best interest to leave the show and on a serious note seek counseling because there are some fundamental differences that these two have that *** be discussed with cameras rolling and that if not fixed might be cause for some permanent damage....good luck
I just wanna know where Porscha real friends are and why they don't try to make her understand the difference between submitting to your husband and being controlled by your husband. Maybe she can handle the advice better coming from them. Cause home girl may be a lil confused. But she's young, understandable. But then again, maybe Cordell told her she couldn't have friends. SMH

insecure controlling dude- not surprising. if you pay all the bills how would YOU act? apparently there's a real lack of equal rights in that union... that's what happens when there is such a disparity in income. period. what did HE give up for this marriage? Let's be real. I knew who it was before I clicked the link. He can't handle her having a job. He as much said so in the latest episode. He's suppose to be the man of the house and she is suppose to stay at home and cook, clean and have babies. He is a pig from the 1950s. Somebody introduce him to the Womens Movement!
I agree with Kordell and Porscha, She is 100% correct in respecting her husband wishes, I am married to a pastor and the Bible clearly states the Husband is the head of the house. Keep standing your ground Porscha, the other women has hen pecked men because they are not the bread winners so they have assumed the role as the submissive one!
personally, i'll hold off on the judgment of cordell, b/c bravo will chop & *** (edit) footage for whatever spin will generate the most ratings. what i can piece together is the ms porsha is one dizzy chick. seems to me she needs guidance and direction, if not she'd be running into walls all 265 days of the year.

They make the money (Nene, Candi, Cynthia) so they don't respect their men the way Porsha respect hers.
Porsha is boring as hell in the first place. The only moment that stood out to me was "bye ashy!" Other than that, it didn't get juicy until we got into this mess about her relationship with her man. The statistics for black women to get married is very low because they think just like these crazy comments posted on this website. Guys don't want these kinds of women. The women on RHOA are all supporting their men financial because they could not secured a rich husband like Porsha did.
